3rd Day: Berlin
Morning city tour including such highlights as the
Brandenburg Gate, Unter den Linden Avenue, Reichstag and former Check
Point Charlie. (B)
4th Day: Wittenberg
In the morning we leave for Potsdam, the former residence
of the Prussian kings. Visit the Palace of Sanssouci with its marvellous
park and Cecilienhof Castle, where the Potsdam Agreements were signed.
Our overnight will be in Wittenberg. (B, L)

5th Day: Wittenberg
We are in the cradle of the Reformation, where Martin
Luther lived and worked from 1508 to 1546. Here is also the place where he first
published his translation of the New Testament and nailed his 95 theses
at the gate of Wittenberg's Castle Church in 1517. We will visit the Castle,
Church and Luther's house. (B)

6th Day: Weimar
This morning we depart for Eisleben, the birthplace
of Luther. We will visit church St.Peter & Paul, Luther's memorial
on the market square. In the afternoon we will continue to Weimar. (B,

7th Day: Eisenach
After breakfast we will enjoy a walking tour of Weimar,
famous for being the home of such literary and musical giants as Goethe,
Schiller, Bach and Herder. After lunch, we will depart for Erfurt, where
Luther made his studies from 1501 to 1505. We will visit the Cathedral
of St Mary, an Augustinian monastery. For dinner and overnight, we will
be in Eisenach. (B, D)

8th Day: Eisenach
We will visit Luther's House, where he lived from
1498 to 1501; and we will see his room, precious bibles and fascinating
ecclesiastical prints. Continuing on to Wartburg castle, we‘ll
see where Luther lived as Junker Joerg while he translated the New Testament.

9th Day: Regensburg
This morning we leave the former East Germany and
travel via Bayreuth and Nuernberg to Regensburg. (B, L)

10th Day: Regensburg
Walking tour of the old town of Regensburg including
the Cathedral.
Weather permitting we can enjoy a small cruise on the blue Danube to
the Walhalla built by King Ludwig I. (optional). (B)

11th Day: Oberammergau
In the morning we will travel via Landshut and
Bad Toelz to Oberammergau. (B, D)

12th Day: Oberammergau (Performance Day)
The highlight of the tour is with today's performance
of the Passion Play. (B, L, D)

13th Day: Munich
This morning we travel via Ettal to Munich for
our city tour. The afternoon is open for shopping and individual activities.
In the evening we will enjoy a Bavarian folklore show along with a Bavarian
dinner. (B, D)
14th Day: Departure Munich
We leave Munich for our flight back to the U.S.A.
with arrival on the same day. (B)
